There are only a handful of places in San Antonio where you can go and lounge on a nice patio with great beers on tap - some that come to mind: Flying Saucer, Blue Star Brewery, La Tuna (do they have beers on tap?), and Beethoven Mannerchor.
Well, much to our surprise (really, we just happened to drive by this place this past weekend and I was wondering what it was all about), the Quarry Hofbrau & Beer Garden is set to open this May!
According to the restaurant's website, the place will be a "unique drinking-eating establishment that serves up hospitality, good food, friendly service and a good choice of beer and other bar drinks."
Hofbrau is planning on having 24 craft beers on tap.
I can't say that we'll be visiting this place that often since it is a good 25 minutes from our house; but we will definitely give it a try once it starts pouring the beers.
